29:30

Today is the kind of day when I hate to have a project.  I don’t want to do it.  I want to sit on the couch and become a zombie.  I’m exhausted.  I got home at 7:30 p.m. and I’ve been on the road since 7:30 a.m.  Plus there wasn’t much I wanted to photograph to wax on about gratitude.  I was grateful I didn’t hit a deer.  I was grateful I didn’t fall asleep at the stop light.  I was grateful to not be the one bathing the kids (sure I could have photographed that, but I was too tired for it).  I’m grateful a friend dropped off a Star Wars duvet cover, but I can’t bring myself to photograph it.  I’m just grateful this day is over.  And I’m over trying to figure out how to photograph that gratitude.

Instead, I’m grateful for what’s inside the cup and bags I bought today: coffee, cranberry bliss bar, and some dirt cheap Pyrex bowls.

Day 29: Gratitude for the easy way out.
