3 Miracles and it Isn’t Even 2 p.m.

Three miracles have already happened:

  1. We have neighbors who welcome with pie.  (Yes, that’s a scrapper and not a kitchen tool.  I wanted pie ASAP.)
  2. After almost a full day of painting, I’m still enjoying it on Day 2.
  3. I didn’t get one drop on the ceiling or the floor.

What’s next Mr. Miracle Giver?  Let’s make it four.  Evens are good.

Carol Klein Ray - Ha – serving pie with a paint scraper is hilarious! I once pounded in a nail with an ice cream scoop, so I guess that’s why they call them kitchen ‘tools.’ I like the color of the living room, but your ma’s going to get on you for not cutting in first before you painted the walls!October 24, 2012 – 8:11 pm

Jill Dyer Greenwood - Oh, thank god you said that about cutting in the corners, Carol. That was my first thought . . . and it’s Dad she needs to worry about. Get a Q-Tip when you do the ceilings, Erika . . . works well to get the mistakes. October 24, 2012 – 8:30 pm

Erika Ray Photography - Yes, cutting corners first makes complete sense, but if that had to be done before the first coat, it wouldn’t get painted until this weekend. And I need to start crossing things off our To-Do list. Mark’s doing the top part. I get the bottom. Pie was tasty with a little bit of wood filler on it.October 24, 2012 – 9:02 pm

Kathe Ray - In culinary school the master pastry chef told us that his favorite store to shop for kitchen tools was home depot. And we all carry Stanley tool boxes for our tools. It’s funny to open it and see knives, whisks and such.October 25, 2012 – 11:07 am
